ESS intermodulation distortion 'hump'
B0b
Are you aware of the intermodulation distortion 'hump' issue with ESS DACs? e.g. WesionTEK Khadas Tone Board with its ES9038Q2M DAC: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?attachments/khadas-tone-board-dac-intermodulation-measurement-png.16343/

Do you know if the ES9218P chip suffers from the same problem? If so, have you managed to fix this issue with the implementation in the 5K DAC? The developer of the E1DA 9038S thumb drive DAC/amp managed to eliminate the hump for example:

Here is a full description and investigation of the issue:

No, Both 5K and ES9218p don't have such an issue.
At the moment, since our HW is not a final version, we can't share any figures or graphs. But we'll share them once we're ready.
